I have been a long time supporter of Eki and Mayumi.
Very cool people and most importantly fantastic, fastidious food "fashionistas".Misaki Byron was brilliant their products great and very soon I want to enrol in a cooking class to learn how to cook a Japanese Paella !

For the celebration of my wife's birthday we engaged Misaki Byron after a recommendation from a friend. The opportunity of eating fabulous Japanese food in the relaxed, comfortable environment of our rented holiday house was very appealing. In particular, our young children were able to see the detailed preparation of the food and crockery and were still able to be put to bed at their usual time.

The ease and calm in which the food was prepared was quite wonderful. We had brought some special Burgundy wines from our cellar and the dishes Hideki chose were perfectly matched to these wines. The timing, quality and presentation of the fresh, delicious dishes was of a very high, professional standard. Our clients include Tetsuyas, Vue de Monde, The French Laundry, Charlie Trotters and Rockpool and we are always excited to see dedication and care in hospitality and we were grateful for such a pleasurable experience.

There is no doubt that part of our next holiday in Byron Bay will include another Misaki Byron in house dinner.

What a fabulous evening. Really enjoyed the cooking class. Top quality ingredients, great techniques and clear explanations combined with a very genial atmosphere made for a memorable event. I'll be back for more

Eki's innovative approach to local ingredients inspires amazing and tantalising results. Following my nose one day I came across Eki hot smoking marinated chicken using banksia cones...the combination of natural woodsmoke and marinated flavours provided something unique and mouthwatering.....and one I have never stopped talking about.
PS...I'm truly blessed to have Eki as my neighbour....if only I could put aromas on this guestbook !
